
Alentejo
To discover Alentejo it is probably necessary to go back to the origins of Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula.
With a mixed heritage from the Phoenician, Celt and Roman civilizations, Alentejo is a place where the natural landscape, History and culture walk hand in hand!
If you are looking for a more cultural holiday, here you will find old documents, mosaics, cities in ruins and the oldest civilizations with megalithic monuments, such as the dolmens.

The region is rich in cork, one of the most famous raw materials of Portugal, extracted from cork-oaks, a very typical tree which influences the painted landscape, among the chestnut trees, the dry greens and, of course, the immense blue sky.
Santarém, Marvão or Monsaraz, Vila Viçosa, Borba, Alandroal or Elvas, the diversity of cultures and styles is immense. Come learn and explore what this region has to offer.
